About Captain "Red ED" Brennan
Captain "Red ED" Brennan has been living his dream and fishing the waters of the Homosassa and Chassahowitzka Rivers on Florida's Nature Coast since the early 1980's. While living in Orlando, he made many day and weekend trips to fish with the legendary Captain Bill Hope, his mentor, and fell in love with the area and learned to fish these tricky waterways.
Captain "Red ED", enjoys sharing his knowledge of the Chassahowitzka and Homosassa Rivers. These waterways are one of Florida's last best kept secrets and it's experiencing Florida like it was hundreds of years ago.
Captain "Red ED", fishes from a custom Custom 24 that is ideally designed for both inshore waterways and offshore rough seas. The Custom 24 has a smooth comfortable dry ride even in rough seas and can easily accommodate at least four anglers or six divers and is powered by the newest generation 250 HP Yamaha F250XB Engine. The Custom 24 will allow me to do offshore Grouper or Cobia charters, Tarpon charters, Fly-Fishing charters, and Spearfishing charters, see “Custom 24 Page” for more details.
Captain "Red ED" specializes in light tackle, offshore and nearshore fishing for Hogfish, Grouper, Cobia, Red Snapper, Redfish, Speckled Sea Trout, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder and Sharks.
During the months of July, August and September, he also books scallop trips to the pristine grass flats of Citrus County.
